Hey!
While going to the beach, you don’t have to give up on makeup. All you should remember is using beauty products that will give sun protection and won’t run down your face in contact with salty water. Read my latest post to discover all details.
Makeup Base Matters Most
Thanks to a primer, your makeup will get through summer hot days and sea baths. The base fulfils more functions – protects from the sunlight, evens out the skin tone, makes wrinkles less visible and provides skin with vitamins and micro-nutrients. The word ‘base’ can mean something different – basic summer skincare. You should drink at least one litre of water a day and give up on sweet and fizzy drinks. Using SPF creams is extremely important. They prevent wrinkles and discolourations as well as lock in water.
Which Foundation for the Beach?
Choose the one enriched with UV filter. In this way, you won’t have to apply other sunscreens. If your skin is oily and acne-prone, don’t use foundation in summer. It would melt down and cause irritation after a few hours. Light and non-comedogenic BB creams also have lots of benefits. They cover all imperfections, even the skin tone and let you feel fresh all the time.
How to Apply Beach Makeup?
The fewer cosmetics you use, the better for your skin and comfier for you. Enhance your beauty and define your face assets. Apply a thin layer of waterproof mascara to your brows so water and sweat won’t wash it off. Illuminate your facial skin, applying a light shimmering product to the cheekbones and Cupid’s bow. Use a lash curler and coat eyelashes with a waterproof mascara. Your beach makeup is ready!
