1. Nanolash mascara
Let me start with my personal favorite. It is the Nanolash mascara. Let me start by saying that this product is available in two versions so you can opt for:
- Nanolash Volume Up Mascara – a thickening mascara;
- Nanolash Length & Curl Mascara – a lengthening and curling mascara.
Of course, both products have a similar, safe formula, which nourishes the lashes in addition to making them look significantly longer.
My opinion is that the Nanolash mascara is a premium product. Girls, the brush that comes with the product is simply phenomenal! It’s made of soft silicone, with perfect spacing between the bristles, it gently brushes the lashes and makes the product application much easier.
The Nanolash mascara is also extremely long-wear. You know I lead a fairly active lifestyle, however, after my every workout I have not noticed the “panda eyes effect”. In short, I recommend this product to all of you. You will not be disappointed with it!
2. Lashcode Mascara
Lashcode Mascara is a lengthening and thickening mascara and I also have no major complaints about it. Among its biggest advantages, I can certainly list:
- the mascara does not smudge after a full day;
- the application is extremely easy – mainly because the product has a properly shaped silicone brush;
- several active ingredients that nourish the lashes during the application.
In a way, this mascara is very similar to the Nanolash mascara. At the same time, I haven’t tested it on rainy days, so I don’t know how it performs.
3. Clarins Be Long Mascara
Clarins Be Long Mascara is a product I also can’t complain too much about. Again, I emphasize that the brush is well-shaped and reaches the shortest lashes. This is a thickening mascara and indeed, it does a great job in this field. I also appreciate it for its aesthetically pleasing packaging.
The only problem is that I’ve noticed that at the end of the day, the mascara wears off and settles in the eyelid creases. I have quite sensitive eyes, so my mascara crumbling bothers me quite a bit.
4. Lancome Mascara Hypnose Doll Eyes
The next product on my list is Lancome Mascara Hypnose Doll Eyes. After the first application, the mascara made my lashes look longer perfectly. I also didn’t notice that they were sticky in any way. The product is also relatively long-wear, which I really like. I don’t like to worry about my makeup getting smudged.
The problem, however, turned out to be the brush! It is rather strangely designed. When trying to reach the lashes in the corners, not only was it quite hard for me to get a grip on the want, but I also stained my entire eyelid. Despite this, I can’t say that this product is bad and lacks quality.
5. Maybelline Great Lash
In my ranking, I also found a place for the Maybelline Great Lash mascara. The product is quite popular – surely you have encountered it more than once in any drugstore. It is supposed to lengthen eyelashes and give them extra volume. This is true, although I had to apply two coats of the product to achieve this effect.
The brush again proved to be quite problematic. It’s short, and with my drooping eyelids, reaching the lashes in the corners became a huge challenge. I was also slightly bothered by the product residue, just a few hours after the application. I expected a bit more durability.

In conclusion, I can say that the Nanolash mascara has become the absolute No. 1 for me. I think this is the mascara I have been looking for years. No product has worked better and is as precise as the mascara from Nanolash.
At the same time, the other products were not bad either. You must remember that your eyelashes provide the most beautiful setting of your eyes.
